is a non-governmental organisation, established in February 2007.
Activities of the Slovak-Georgian Society are aimed mainly at:
- Support and establishment of cooperation in the area of economic and cultural communications and other areas of social life,
- Wider informing the citizens of Slovakia about Georgia and citizens of Georgia about Slovakia (lectures, exhibitions, implementation of projects etc.),
- Mutual exchange and organization of cultural, sporting and other social activities,
- Support of publication of significant Georgian artistic, scientific, literary and publicist works of art in Slovakia and Slovak ones in Georgia,
- Advertising Slovak culture, art, folklore, folkways, national gastronomy, historical and natural monuments in Georgia and the Georgian one in Slovakia in order to get mutually acquainted with cultural values, to gain a mutual understanding of one another's cultural values and show opportunities for development of tourism,
- Project management, consultancy and education activities in project management, inter alia aimed at support of integration of Georgia into the European structures, development of the third sector, preparation of projects and provision of projects finance from international financing institutions funds,
- Education activity, scientific and cultural cooperation in organization of exchange symposia, lecturers and conferences.
SGS co-operates with the Embassy of Georgia to Slovakia, and intends to create links with partner subjects in Slovakia and abroad.

Membership in the SGS is voluntary. Member of the society can become:
- physical person older than 15 years who agrees with Articles of SGS and goals of the SGS and manifests friendly relationship to Slovakia and Georgia, their values, culture and traditions in order to develop mutually friendly relationship.
- legal person with its seat in the territory of Slovakia willing to fulfill the goal of the Association. The legal person is represented in the Association by its statutory representative or other person authorized in a written form by the statutory representative.
