SLOVENSKO-GRUZÍNSKY SPOLOK (Slovak-Georgian Society / SGS)
has struggled for simplifying Slovak visa regime for Georgian citizens, in the long term has requested Slovak governmental representatives to consider opening Slovak embassy in Tbilisi (note: there has not been any Slovak representative institution / embassy / consulate in entire Caucasus region. Hopefully, Slovakia will open its embassy in Georgia in 2008 year.),
joining the international projects of cooperation and support to Georgia (New Group of Friends of Georgia), and Slovak support to European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations of Georgia, Georgian democracy building, peaceful resolution of conflicts in Abkhazia and South Ossetia (Tskhinvali) respecting Georgia’s territorial integrity, and other activities aimed at strengthening the cooperation between Slovakia and Georgia, considering the civil contacts and cooperation in various areas of business, cultural and other social contacts as well
