 Slovak-Georgian Society in cooperation with the Academy for Peace and Development (Tbilisi, www.apd.ge) organised within the EU Programme Youth in Action following projects:
Training course “A Europe of Citizens – A Vision for a near Future?” 8-15 September 2011, Kobuleti, Georgia
Training organised for 28 European youth workers from 13 partner organisations from the Youth in Action Programme Countries and from Eastern Europe and Caucasus countries. The project was aimed to foster European Citizenship and youth volunteering in order to contribute to a working civil society across the national borders in Europe, to place the vision of a common European Citizenship.
Training Course “Cooperation with Quality – Project Management Training for Cooperation with Neighbouring Partner Countries” 22-29 September 2010, Kobuleti, Georgia
Training organised for 24 youth workers from Youth in Action Programme Countries and Partner Countries from East Europe and Caucasus (EECA). The training was aimed to improve the management skills and abilities of the youth workers, project coordinators and young leaders in the implementation of international youth projects.
"Active Participation and Volunteering in the Caucasus" training, 21-28 April 2009 in Tbilisi and Kobuleti
a six day training course for 24 participants from 15 countries from EU, Eastern Europe and Caucasus region. The training aimed at promoting an active youth participation and European Voluntary Service in Caucasus and Eastern Europe was held on 21-28 April 2009 in Tbilisi and Kobuleti.
"Res Divina-Youth for Religious Dialogue", September 2008, Bakuriani
SGS in cooperation with the Academy for Peace and Development (Tbilisi, www.apd.ge) organized "Res Divina-Youth for Religious Dialogue" project within the EU "Youth in Action Programme" funding (note: 2008 year =“European Year of Intercultural Dialogue”). Training aimed at fostering intercultural and interreligious dialogue of youth from EU, Eastern Europe and Caucasus region was held on 13-20 September 2008 (originally planned 22-29 August) in Bakuriani, Georgia.

Jobshadowing - Academy for Peace and Development (Tbilisi) in SGS
7-26 May 2008 was held a jobshadowing visit of the office manager from the Academy for Peace and Development (Tbilisi), aimed at enhancing cooperation and partnership. The stay was co-financed from EU Programme „Youth in Action“ for project of cooperation of SGS and APD named „Get together – Georgia meets Slovakia for civil society cooperation“.
 „სლოვაკეთ-საქართველოს საზოგადოებამ“ განვითარების ხელშეწყობის სლოვაკეთის ოფიციალური პროგრამისგან „Slovak Aid“ მიიღო გრანტი პროექტისათვის „იძულებით გადაადგილებულ მოზარდთა კლუბები - ხელშეწყობა და შემდგომი განვითარება“. პროექტი განხორციელდება „სლოვაკეთ-საქართველოს საზოგადობის“ მიერ, მის ქართველ პარტნიორთან, „მშვიდობისა და განვითარების აკადემიასთან“ თანამშრომლობით, 2009 წლის ნოემბრიდან 2010 წლის ნოემბრამდე.
პროექტის მთავარი მიზანია აფხაზეთიდან და სამაჩაბლოდან იძულებით გადაადგილებულ პირთა ცენტრების მხარდაჭერა დევნილთა მაღალი კონცენტრაციის მდებარეობებში - თბილისსა და წეროვანში, ახალგაზრდებისათვის პირობების გაუმჯობესებაში წვლილის შეტანა, საზოგადოებრივ ცხოვრებაში მათი აქტიური ჩართვისთვის, შრომის ბაზარზე თანაბარი წვდომისთვის, მათთვის უცხო ენის სწავლებით, კომპიუტერული პროგრამების უნარ-ჩვევების გადაცემით, მოტივაციის გაზრდითა და შემოქმედებითობის განვითარებით მათი სოციალური გარიყვის პრობლემის შესამცირებლად.
ბიუჯეტი დაფარავს ორი ახალგაზრდული კლუბის 1 წლიანი მუშაობის ხარჯებს (ოთახების რეკონსტრუქცია, აღჭურვილობა, მასალა), პროექტის სამუშაო ჯგუფის, ლექტორების და ფასილიტატორების ანაზღურებას. პროექტი დააფინანსებს კლუბების 10 თვიან მუშაობას: 8 თვის განმავლობაში ჩატარდება გაკვეთილები კლუბებში, ზაფხულის 2 თვის განმავლობაში კი მოეწყობა სასწავლო გასვლები ბუნებაში.
იძულებით გადაადგილებულ პირთა ახალგაზრდულ კლუბებში მოზარდები დაესწრებიან შემდეგ აქტივობებს: ინგლისური ენის კურსი - კვირაში ორჯერ, კომპიუტერული კურსი - კვირაში ორჯერ, კონფლიქტების მართვის კურსი - კვირაში ერთხელ, ლიდერობა - კვირაში ერთხელ, შემოქმედებითი ხელოვნების გაკვეთილები/ხელოვნების გაკვეთილები, სპეციალიზებული აბრეშუმის გაფორმებაზე (სიმბოლურად უძველესი „აბრეშუმის გზის“ გასახსენებლად) - კვირაში ერთხელ. ჩამოთვლილი ფიქსირებული აქტოვიბების გარდა, თვეში ორჯერ იგეგმება სამუშაო შეხვედრებისა და დისკუსიების გამართვა ისეთ, თემებზე, როგორებიცაა: ადამიანის უფლებები, აივ/შიდსის პრევენცია, ნარკოტიკული დამოკიდებულება და ა.შ.

On 17 March 2010, Slovak Minister of Foreign Affairs M. Lajčák during his official visit to Georgia visited also the IDP Youth Club in Tserovani, which is supported from the SlovakAid grant within our project.
On 8 August 2009 SLOVENSKO-GRUZINSKY SPOLOK ( სლოვაკეთ-საქართველოს საზოგადოება) organized a protest meeting to support independence, souvereignity and territorial integrity of Georgia and against Russian occupation of Georgian territories (from Hodžovo square / Presidential palace towards the Russian Embassy on Godrova street) to:
· remind invasion of Russian armed forces into sovereign Georgian territories: - on 7 August 2008 Russian armed forces illegitimately entered Georgian territory, - Russian Federation so far has not fully complied with its commitments stated in agreements brokered on 12 August and 12 September 2008, including the withdrawal of all military forces to the positions held prior to the outbreak of hostilities of Russian-Georgian conflict in August 2008, - on the contrary, Russian Federation reinforces its forces in the conflict areas of Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) and Abkhazia and refuses to allow the unarmed EU Monitoring Mission to enter the occupied separatist areas)
· condemn continuing breach of Georgian sovereignty and territorial integrity
· express dissent from the Russian politics towards Georgia and other neighbouring independent countries

"GEORGIAN RACHA IN SLOVAK RACHA", 11 November 2008
Meeting with lecture about Georgian region Racha and about other regions of Georgia, was held on Tuesday 11 November 2008, 7 p.m. in Bratislava - Racha, in Cultural Centre in Zarnovicka street No.7. On 13 and 16 August 2008 SLOVENSKO-GRUZINSKY SPOLOK ( სლოვაკეთ-საქართველოს საზოგადოება) organized a protest meetings to support independence, souvereignity and territorial integrity of Georgia and against Russian occupation of Georgian territories (from Hodžovo square / Presidential palace towards the Russian Embassy on Godrova street) to to express dissent from the Russian politics towards Georgia, and to condemn the breaking the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia.

- 17 October 2006 – Protest meeting against sanctions imposed by Russia against Georgia after the extradition of accused Russian spies in September - October 2006. Georgians, who live and study in Slovakia, and Slovak friends of Georgia, held the protest action in front of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Bratislava. (see Photo Gallery)
